When SurvivorLink launched, pediatric cancer survivors were recruited to use it via mailings, during their cancer survivor clinic visit, and at community events related to childhood cancer. An article describing who uses SurvivorLink was published in the Journal of Cancer Survivorship. At the time of analysis, 275 survivors were registered on SurvivorLink.  The authors found that 67% of registrants created a health record on SurvivorLink and 46% stored a document.  Overall, having been to a survivor clinic is the biggest predictor of using SurvivorLink.
